Warranty conditions

You will of course receive a guarantee on your purchase Dimehouse! Naturally, conforms Dimehouse to Dutch legislation and has adjusted the warranty conditions. What rights and obligations do you have as a consumer?

How long do I have a guarantee on my product?
Dimehouse offers a general 2 -year guarantee on all products. The customer is entitled to replacement or repair of a product that is already inadequate upon delivery. Repair or replacement is always done within a very short term (if the item is in stock). The customer must report damage within three days. We recommend checking the item immediately when it has been delivered. You have a longer warranty on certain parts of products:

  • A guarantee of 3 years is given on wooden frame works
  • A guarantee of 5 years is given on metal parts

NB! Have you bought a office chair or a bar stool with a gas spring? You can no longer dismantle this after assembly. If you have doubts about the product? Then we ask you for the gas spring not To be mounted! If you use the office chair and the bar stool mounted, it is not More possible to return your products and the warranty also expires.

How is my complaint being processed?
Dimehouse strives to handle every complaint that is registered on workdays within 24 hours. With a view to the complexity of some complaints, retains Dimehouse The right to take a maximum of 120 hours to come up with a solution.

The order of resolving a complaint is as follows:

  1. Dimehouse legally has the right to first remedy the complaint through repair
  2. If repair is not possible, may Dimehouse Replace the product by supplying new parts. Dimehouse has the right to first request any replacements from and any supplier. So that it can be assessed in consultation whether a replacement is sufficient
  3. If repair and replacement according to Dimehouse is not sufficient, the consumer receives part of the purchase amount. If the product has been used for half a year, the consumer will receive 50% of the purchase amount back. If the product has been used for eight months, the consumer will receive 25% of the purchase amount back. After using a year, no claim can be made to any refund

Buy extra warranty on the bank or armchair
When the customer purchases a bank or armchair, we recommend the "I-Protector for 3 years of anti-stain guarantee Textile Care Kit" ". The i-protector offers protection against stains and also a 3-year warranty. The warranty only applies if the Care Kit has been purchased at the same time when ordering. The furniture must be treated for use. This ensures that you can easily remove dirt and other liquids from the furniture. Is there a stain that the customer does not get out of it? Then we ensure that it is treated by Oranje Furniture Care.

To be eligible for this warranty, the customer must be able to demonstrate that the I-Protector and the Furniture have been ordered at www.dimehouse.NL.

Stains against which the textile is protected and for which claim can be made to warranty are: beverages, foods, and even releasing and excretion of people or pets. The customer has no guarantee of stains against which textile cannot be protected, such as corrosive substances (think of pale or nail polish remover) and paint and dyes (think also to release jeans)

Help! I received a product with damage
No problem! Our customer service team gets everything out of the closet to help the customer as well as possible and always provides a suitable solution. When an article arrives with damage, we advise you to send a photo directly to Customer Service@dimehouse.NL So that the customer service team can get started immediately for you.

Pattern
The product delivered must have the properties that the customer can expect on the basis of information shown in our webshop. If this expectation is not met, the customer is entitled to a suitable solution such as repair. With a discount, the repair or replacement will lapse. After the reflection period of 30 days, the right of withdrawal can no longer be invoked. 

What is not covered by warranty?
The fabric articles in our webshop are made of microfiber, leather, PU leather, rib fabric and velvet. For every substance we have a special care kit with which the item can be treated against stains and dirt from outside. We give the points below no Warranty on:

Accidental spots caused by:

  • Drinks, such as red wine and coffee
  • Food, such as ketchup and pizza
  • Body fluid, such as blood or vomit
  • Ink of, for example, a ballpoint pen, felt -tip pen or marker
  • Indefinable spots
  • Paint
  • Cosmetics and toiletries
  • Colored stains through offensive jeans or newspaper
  • Stains on oil base, such as smear or tar
  • Adhesive agents and glue
  • Bleek and other cleaning agents
  • Sour liquids, such as vinegar and lemon juice

Accidental damage caused by:

  • Cracks caused by keys and buckles
  • Wear and scratches on leather upholstery
  • Fire holes caused by cigarettes
  • Loose threads in the fabric
  • Light scratches through pets

Normal wear is not included within the warranty conditions. Normal wear also includes user damage. Dimehouse has the right to request photos of any damage after the period of 30 days and to be able to assess whether there is user damage.

Discoloration of products is not included under the warranty conditions. Rust of metal parts due to outdoor use on the inside furniture does not fall within the warranty conditions.

For all products offered, we offer excellent protection through maintenance products and expect the customer to take responsibility and protect his or her furniture against stains according to the regulations.

If the customer has moved abroad, only a guarantee from the Netherlands can be claimed.
